Why should you stay calm after a scam?

Today I have been scammed on the Internet. It was a very basic scam.
And I lost hundreds of dollars.

“The enemy is a good teacher, but his lessons are expensive”.
Sun Tzu

Today, this quote is… for me.

I feel ashamed. I boil with furor. I repeatedly say to myself “how could you be so stupid?” I was in the process of being paralyzed for the rest of the day.

Until I decided to focus on these thoughts.

This is the real power of thieves and scammers. The attack on your assets is serious. The attack on your mental balance and self-confidence is from another dimension.

Yesterday I joined a 30-days-writing-challenge. I was full of joy. And I was a bit proud: I have been amazed by the level of shippers I met.

“The hype is in the cohort” is not very far from “I am the hype”.

Reality has just knocked on the door.

Weave your safety net when you are working online.

  • Move 7 seconds away from every distraction.
  • Stay humble
  • Be kind to yourself: if nobody does, who will?

What does not kill you makes you stronger.

Game on.
